About
Locked Case Escape is a team building challenge built around escape room puzzles. Teams work against a strict time limit to unlock a series of cases hidden inside a locked metal chest.
It begins with a mysterious video message in which a strange voice challenges the participants to a game. Each team faces its own metal chest, and inside is a series of locked cases, each holding a mystery to unravel. The atmosphere builds quickly as every team realises it is racing the same clock.
As the countdown continues, teams solve problems, crack combinations and unravel mysteries to move from one case to the next.
Finally, they must decipher a code and enter it into an electronic combination lock before time runs out. Because the chests are portable, the game can be set up in any meeting room, hotel or conference venue.
Learning outcomes
Locked Case Escape rewards logical thinking and teamwork in equal measure. No single person can solve every puzzle, so teams must share ideas and build on each other's insights.
The countdown adds pressure, helping teams practise staying calm, prioritising and communicating clearly when time is short.
Different puzzle styles suit different thinkers, so everyone finds moments to contribute and colleagues see each other's strengths in a new light.
